Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha commented Albanian Premier Edi Rama’s declarations that corrupt judges must go behind bars, saying this declaration comes from a thief that fears justice, adding that the judiciary reform has been caught by the ruling Socialist Party (PS).

“It’s clear that justice is corrupted by politics. As long as Rama will be Prime Minister, there won’t be justice. The judiciary reform has been caught by PS… Rama is terrified by the independent judges and prosecutors. We’ll never have justice with this government. With this Prime Minister, they will always try to sabotage every aspect of the judiciary reform, as they have done so far”.

The Democrat leader added it is of utmost importance to stop “this barbarism and madness that is costing human lives and health”.
