Albanian Premier Edi Rama said the Socialist majority has respected the June 5 Agreement and urged President Ilir Meta either to sign or return it to the parliament as soon as possible, because there isn’t much time left for its implementation.
“June 5 (agreement) has been respected, also June 30 was respected. There is no more time to lose. The President would better sign it or return it as soon as possible, so that we could continue with the implementation, because the time for the implementation is tight and we will vote it as we did”, Rama said.
Asked about the five-point plan proposed by the Democratic Party to help against the coronavirus spread, Rama responded shortly: “I have no idea for a five-point plan”.
Earlier, President Meta had appealed to Premier Rama to respect the agreement signed on June 5 by the majority and the opposition.
