Albanian President Ilir Meta promised today he will follow the ruling of the Constitutional Court to the letter concerning the issue of maritime borders with Greece. “Albanians must be sure that their President will always defend the Constitution. For the issue in question, I will respect the ruling of the Constitutional Court and all our institutions must follow suit”, Meta said in Vlora today.

The Albanian Constitutional Court ruled against a maritime deal with Greece in April 2010.
