The Albanian Democratic Party (PD) said Premier Edi Rama must be sent before justice as the main culprit for the penalty €110 million Albania must pay to the Italian entrepreneur Francesco Bechetti. Deputy Chairman of PD, Edi Paloka, wrote the parliament should have dismissed the Prime Minister and should have him impeached.

“A ‘parliament’ that has become not only ridiculous for the miserable level but also a calamity for the Albanians”, Paloka wrote on his Facebook page. “A serious parliament would have fired Rama and sent him before justice even for the €110 million only that will be paid by Albanians, without considering his other crimes that have become calamities for the people”.
