Albanian Premier Edi Rama threatened today to tear the pact for the electoral reform reached a few days ago. Addressing to the parliament, Rama, as always attacked the opposition for the delays for the conclusion of the reform.

“What I say once again to (Democratic Party chairman) Lulzim Basha and (LSI vice chairman) Peço (Petrit) Vasili is: don’t continue with insults, blackmail, do not tempt us, because, for God’s sake, that agreement is one that has created positive conditions in rapport with the climate and partners, but for me it is not a reform but an aware step backwards we made so that Albania won’t become the coffeehouses topic across Europe”, Rama said.

“Only a thread separates its conclusion from its tearing it to pieces, so Basha and Vasili should better safeguard this thread, because we don’t owe them their daily attacks, slanders, and accusations, in a time when the majority of the Albanians don’t even like that agreement”.
