Albanian President Ilir Meta responded with laughter to the media reporters asking if he had forgiven Premier Edi Rama. The former allies do not see eye to eye, but they an apparently cordial meeting today, where they also touched their elbows before a smiling Speaker of the Parliament Gramoz Ruçi.

Meta said Rama and he were present in a meeting of the Council for the European Integration.

"We were there for issues of the European integration and for that question I am and will always be available, having done everything for Albania not to lose any more time like it has wasted in these decades”, Meta said. “Albania was way ahead Montenegro and Serbia in the beginning of the process, but today we are not in such a positive situation. We must reach new acceleration, show responsibility and restore the hope so that this country earns new energy and motivation”.
