Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha met today merchants and businessmen in Tirana to talk about their problems related to the coronavirus crisis and express his support to them. The businessmen expressed their fears of going bankrupt on account of the coronavirus pandemic and also of the government negligence and abandonment during the hard times.

They complained for the orders to close shops from Premier Edi Rama’s Facebook page. Basha said the orders are unlawful and promised for changes once the Democratic Party (PD) takes the power.

“We must return to normality as soon as possible and it’s very important to support you. Unless we support the business, we’ll destroy the economy and everything”, Basha said.

“That’s why we asked him (Rama) to give money to the people, not to allow the consumption drop. If the consumption drops, it’s the business that feels it first and then conveys it through the chain of economy”.
