The Democratic Party (PD) said today Edi Rama’s bad governance in seven years has cost €12 billion to the country’s economy, while 1500 person lose their jobs every day.

PD’s economic expert Dorian Teliti said the businesses and economy are bankrupting, while the government continues to ridicule them by offering them an “empty spoon” and “TV screens full of propaganda”.

“The public debt increased with €2.3 billion”, Teliti said. “€2.1 billion was taken from the Albanian taxpayers’ pockets as a consequence of raising taxes and tariffs”.

“€1.9 billion worth of PPPs were signed and paid on our backs to a fistful of cronies. €6 billion were abused, misused and stolen, according to the State’s Supreme Audit”.
