Former Kosovo Premier Ramush Haradinaj has talked about his conflicts with Albanian Premier Edi Rama, saying it was not affected by his friendship with President Ilir Meta and former President Sali Berisha.

Haradinaj told Real Story host Sokol Balla on News 24 that no one can break his friendship with the citizens of Albania, but in Rama’s case Kosovo’s territorial integrity was in danger.

“I have a long history of shared living with the Albanians (citizens of Albania – Syri.net) from the 1990s, along with my martyr brother Luan. They supported us and we feel so much for all our Albanian brothers and sisters. No one can break my relation (with them). The crack in my relations with Rama did not come from my friendship with Berisha and Meta. It originates from the plan for the land swap (with Serbia). When I went to Albania, Sali Berisha was Prime Minister; I always requested meeting (former Socialist Premier) Fatos Nano when he was in opposition. The only difference was the danger of Kosovo’s division”, Haradinaj said.
