Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha called Albanian Premier Edi Rama “a clown that spends money and time with spots to tell lies to Albanians”.

"He appointed the biggest peace-time thief as a minister of disasters. Two minutes would be enough to publish the secret contracts. Even the toilette paper has been purchased via secret bids. Why does he make the clown to lie to the Albanians? He is a Prime Minister, the citizens have to know where their tax money goes. We would deserve a clown for prime minister if we accept certain things”, Basha said in his exclusive interview with host Çim Peka on Syri TV.

“If the tax money in a pandemics time go to the oligarchs’ pockets then it’s only natural you’ll be in this situation. Had we had SPAK (the special anti-corruption prosecution), today we’d have ministers with cuffs on their hands and an indicted Prime Minister. But this is a paper state, we are under a regime where they lie at one part and steal at the other”.
