Albanian Ministry of Health reported today 16 children have been infected with coronavirus in the country but none of them had the need to be hospitalized.

Vice minister of health Mira Rakacolli told the media all the infected children are in a “very good” state, adding so far there is no case of pregnant women infected with Covid-19 that has brought their children to life.

Earlier, minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu said 34 babies have been born only in Tirana in the last 24 hours, in total 1470 since the virus outbreak. In none of the cases have been women infected with the coronavirus.
