Albanian President Ilir Meta announced today he had phone calls with local authorities from the Valley of Presevo to get informed about their situation and express his support and solidarity in their efforts against the coronavirus.

Meta said it is good news that the situation in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvegjë is stable so far, considering the coronavirus spread.

“It was a pleasure to have phone conversations today with the chairman of the commune of Presevo, Mr. Shqiprim Arifi; the chairman of the commune of Bujanoc, Mr. Shaip Kamberi; and with the chairman of the chairman of the convent group on the commune of Medvegjë, Mr. Muharrem Salihu”, Meta wrote on his Facebook page.
