A bank employee in the Albanian capital Tirana has sounded the alarm about the danger her colleagues and she, consequently their families as well, are facing due the non-disinfected banknotes and the desks without protective windows which are a must in the times of the coronavirus spread.

Former Premier Sali Berisha echoed her concern calling for disinfection of all banknotes as a dangerous infections source.

“I'd like to appeal to the banks to protect their employees rigorously. I appeal to the Bank of Albania to commence urgently the disinfection of the banknotes, because they really are dangerous sources of infections”, Berisha wrote on his Facebook page, where he also published the message from the anonymous bank employee.
