Albania will ban all flights to and from United Kingdom starting from the midnight between March 16 and 17. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Infrastructure in a press release saying that as of 23:59 of Monday, March 16, 2020, all flights to United Kingdom and from UK to Tirana will be suspended as a preventive measure against the spread of coronavirus.

There is no date for the return of air transport with one of the countries with the biggest Albanian communities abroad.
