The government must stop immediately the propaganda and start taking concrete measures for the control of citizens coming from Italy, in particular from the regions with the largest spread of the coronavirus.

Such measures cannot be televised shows, but complete controls in all entrance points to Albania. It’s an emergency to prepare and publish a plan of measures also informing the citizens on what to do in case they suspect to be infected with the coronavirus.

While Albania is facing a potential danger from coronavirus, thousands of our co-nationals are living in miserable conditions due to the earthquake of November 26. In absence of shelters, they still live in tents or have returned to the damaged buildings, in non-favorable sanitary conditions and lacking food.

People are rightfully concerned and it’s time to let the doctors speak and isolate the propaganda.

Once again I appeal to the citizens no to ignore any sign of health deterioration and go see a doctor of specialist of the field. We have some excellent medical personnel that ask for nothing more than fulfilling the conditions and needs to face any situation.

It is the government’s job to guarantee such conditions instead of making shows and propaganda. I am convinced that, with the necessary means at disposal, our doctors will face successfully any situation thrown at them.
