The Secretary General of the Democratic Party (PD) Gazment Bardhi has commented the decision of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution (SPAK) not to investigate the Mafioso Bajri, transferring the investigative dossier to the Shkodra’s district prosecution office. Pd considers it another proof of SPAK’s failure.

“SPAK was created with the special focus on the fight against organized crime and corruption, but the actual cases are proving it is only an extension of the government in protection of corrupt officials and criminal groups”, Bardhi said today.

“After its refusal to investigate the electoral crime in Dibra, the refusal to send before justice the Mafioso organization Bajri with government links is another proof of SPAK’s failure”.

“The fight on the organized crime is a major national priority for the European integration. It is not made with either propaganda or direction orchestrated by Edi Rama’s urge to cover up his failure. The fight against the organized crime needs political will and responsible institutions”.
