Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Gazmend Bardhi, has commented the release from prison of many infamous criminals despite being serving life sentences.

“Edi Rama’s decision to rescue the most dangerous criminals from prison is the most serious testimony of his co-governance with crime”, Bardhi told media reporters.

“The bosses of the organized crime and the most dangerous murderers are being released with Rama’s knowledge”, Bardhi added.

“The theater of Rama’s marionettes saying that the government does not know what its directors or judges under its control do, is a low mockery of the intelligence of the Albanian citizens. No one doubts that the release from prison of the heads of the organized crime has been made with Rama’s knowledge. Firing directors, suing judges or prosecutors, cannot undo the fact that the mob bosses are at large”.

Bardhi mentioned the names of Lulzim Berisha, Endrit Dokle (released this week), Genc Tafili, Ilir Paja, and Viktor Ymeri, saying all these individuals have worked from inside and outside the prison to secure votes for the Socialist Party and keeping Rama in power.
