Member of the Democratic Party Jamarbër Malltezi has revealed several payments made by the Albanian Power Distribution Corporation for businessmen and artists, cronies of Albanian Premier Edi Rama.
In the payment list there is the painter Anri Sala, close friend to Edi Rama, who has been paid 51 million Albanian Lek, while the company Dixhi Print has received 53 million Leks for a service that has nothing to do with power distribution: the image of Rama and Tirana’s Mayor Erion Veliaj.
“Why should OSHEE pay $500,000 to those who lick and rub Edi, I don’t get it”, Malltezi wrote on his Facebook page.
“Where is SPAK (the newly founded special prosecution against corruption)?”, Malltezi asked, targeting the new institutions of justice for the negligence shown to the facts exposed today by the Democratic Party.
