An Albanian university teacher has been fired from his position because he said the truth about the damages from the earthquake of November 26. Former Premier Sali Berisha revealed today that Professor Agim Seranaj has been removed from the position of vice dean in the School of the Construction Engineering in Tirana. The decision has been taken by the Dean Neritan Shkodrani.

Berisha wrote Seranaj and his students visited the site affected by the devastating earthquake that killed 51 persons, while hundreds others were left injured, with hundreds of buildings collapsed. Many of them could not resist the quakes due to the low quality of construction, which has led to many arrests in the Durrës area.

“The teacher is fired because he said the truth about the earthquake and the damages”, Berisha wrote on his Facebook page, publishing a picture of the dismissal decision.
