Albanian President Ilir Meta visited the base “Adem Jashari” of the Kosovo Security Forces (FSK) where he thanked for the help offered to the citizens of Albania affected by the earthquake of November 26. President Meta gave medals to several units and institutions as a symbol of appreciation for the help in the rescue missions in Durrës and Thumanë, where 51 people died from the earthquake.

The Albanian President said any NATO member country would have been satisfied by what FSK rescue teams showed during their mission in Albania. Meta did not forget to thank also the hero dog FSK which rescued lives of persons that were stuck under the rubbles.

As a sign of appreciation, Meta bent down and kissed the dog on his forehead.
