Albanian Premier Edi Rama has authorized Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to speak on behalf of Albania in the meetings he will have with French President Emmanuel Macron. Vucic confirmed the authorization in an interview with the German weekly magazine Der Spiegel.

“I was with the prime ministers of Albania and North Macedonia at the Ohrid summit and we agreed on almost every point, including that I would talk to Macron on behalf of everyone, as I did last week”, Vucic told the magazine.

Vucic also spoke about the mini-Schengen project that includes Serbia, Albania and Northern Macedonia, saying it is the best project of the last three decades.

Vucic quoted World Bank which estimates the project will lead to €3.5 billion in savings in the region.
