Albanian President Ilir Meta has confirmed Syri.net’s news report on threats addressed to spokesman Tedi Blushi by a foreign embassy in Tirana.

Meta wrote on his Facebook page about the incident, saying the threat was related to Blushi’s job.

“Yes, my spokesman Mr. Tedi Blushi has been blackmailed on behalf of a foreign embassy in Tirana to delete within 30 minutes a comment related to his job, posted today”, Meta wrote, adding that he has requested an immediate inquiry.

“I hope it is a game of the Renaissance (Socialist government – Syri.net), but woe to those who might have threatened the Spokesman of the President of the Republic”.
