Albanian President Ilir Meta has reconfirmed his decision to file a criminal lawsuit against the chair of the Justice Appointments Council (KED) Ardian Dvorani.

Meta’s spokesman Tedi Blushi revealed the existence of “burning evidence” that increase the possibility for other lawsuits against other persons and officials.

“No doubt, the criminal lawsuit will be filed on Monday and other burning evidence is being administered, increasing the possibility for other lawsuits”, Blushi said.

“Also, within the week, the President’s Office will publish a video with uncontestable facts for the domestic and international opinion so that no one in the planet will remain ignorant enough not to understand the violation this gang attempted on the Constitution and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania”.

“This video will uncover the real face of an irresponsible individual that in a terrible criminal way dared to appropriate the constitutional rights of the President of the Republic… because the oath with one’s hand on the Constitution is taken only in the Institution of the President of the Republic and nowhere else”.
