The Democratic Party (PD) accused the Albanian Premier Edi Rama of showing that the anti-law is his model of governing after his defense of Agim Kajmaku, the Mayor of Vora who has hidden his criminal past. Kajmaku has been arrested in Greece under the alias Jorgo Toto for use and distribution of fake banknotes. He escaped prison by returning back to Albania and failed to declare the incident in his decriminalization form when he decided to run for the municipality of Vora.

Former Democrat MP Dhurata Çupi said today that “Rama has been officially defending for three days Agim Kajmaku who intentionally hid his arrest in Greece a few years ago, with the name Jorgo Toto”.

“Edi Rama should have had dismissed Kajmaku from the moment when the prosecution office verified he had broken the law on the decriminalization by hiding the crime for which he was arrested and wanted in Greece and Europe”.

“By defending and keeping in office a high public functionary that has broken the law, commits offenses and deceives the citizens, Edi Rama shows that the anti-law is his governing model”. Ms. Çupi said in the meeting with media reporter at PD headquarters.
