The Democratic Party (PD) has revealed today another big fraud by Tirana’s Mayor Erion Veliaj, concerning the reconstruction of the dormitories of the public universities students in the Albanian capital. Former MP Orjola Pampuri said Veliaj spent 200 million Leks for the reconstruction but now there are breaches in the walls of the buildings and the ceilings are falling down.

Ten month after their protests, the students of the public universities have been deceived by Veliaj and Premier Edi Rama as their conditions are not better and their lives are not safe.

Pampuri said the falling ceilings are the best proof of the dangerous propaganda of Rama and Veliaj.

“With 200 million Leks thrown in the ink of Edi Rama’s and Erion Veliaj’s propaganda the lives of the students have not become better than they were before the protests 10 months ago. On the contrary, for the sake of keeping the power, the lives of our children are in danger. Erjon Veliaj and Edi Rama must e held responsible for that”, Pampuri said, adding that the Democratic Party offers the best alternatives for the students and youth in general.
