Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said today early parliamentary and local elections are a necessity for Albania. Basha said both elections should be held at the same day.

Basha told media reporters he considered stupid Socialist MP’s Damian Gjiknuri declaration that the majority was ready to dialogue with the non-parliamentary opposition through OSCE.

“That’s a stupid thing to fool people. These things cannot be done through an intermediary”, Basha said.
