Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha has repeated the readiness of the opposition to contribute for a solution to the politic crisis in Albania. Basha told media reporters today Premier Edi Rama has chosen the wrong way also in last week before the EU decision on opening the membership negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia.
“I thanked (Austrian Foreign) Minister Schallenberg for Austria’s extraordinary support and in peculiar for the support to the process of opening the negotiations for Albania”, Basha said.
“We shared the concern of many European factors related to the mistrust the Albanian government has created by not meeting the main criteria for the opening of the negotiations”.
Basha said Rama’s way of blaming anyone but himself is the wrong way in the week preceding the EU decision.
“It is the known road of blaming anyone else, attacks against EU, European governments and against the preferred targets: the opposition, Democratic Party, media and even against the citizens only to distract the attention and responsibility from the only person responsible for the situation”.
