The Democratic Party (PD) declared today that “Kosovo gave a lesson to the Albanian government with the elections (of October 6)”, adding that Albanian Premier Edi Rama is the only obstacle for free and fair elections in the country. “The politic will guarantees democratic elections and peaceful politic rotation”, said former Democrat MP Oerd Bylykbashi.
“The elections in Kosovo or any electoral reform of ours will remain only a lesson on paper unless Edi Rama leaves”, Bylykbashi said.
“The parliamentary elections in Kosovo are a big lesson to the Albanian politics and above all a strong bell that tolls for the Albanian government. The democratic elections require politic will. Kosovo taught a big lesson that the elections become democratic when the electors’ will comes first and when the government is willingly to obey the law that guarantees the right of the electors and candidates to run free of pressure”.
