Chairman of the Republican Party (PR) Fatmir Mediu said Premier Edi Rama must assume his responsibilities and not play word games for the dialogue with the opposition. Mediu made his remarks after a meeting the opposition parties leaders had with Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha.
“I find it unacceptable for a Prime Minister and the chairman of the majority to continue with his word games. Once he says he is for the dialogue, then he is against it. Once he says he’s ready to go to the Democratic Party headquarters for negotiations, then he isn’t”, Mediu told media reporters.
“This is not a words game. It is of utmost importance for us to see the reality as it is, especially the Prime Minister of the country must do so. It is important for us to see what problems Albania has today and the problems are at Rama’s side”.
