The Democratic Party (PD) accused Albanian Premier Edi Rama of returning on the police force former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri’s men that planted Albania with drugs and transformed the country in the Columbia of Europe.

“The new director of the Traffic Police Edmond Targaj is known in the State Police as one of the high officials that was involved in cultivation and traffic. Edmond Targaj colluded with several criminal groups in the area of Dibra to plant cannabis during his tenure as Dibra police chief. Along with other police senior officials, he served to Edi Rama to steal the elections. Edmond Targaj has been promoted while being a subject of the investigative dossier 184”.
