Former Foreign Minister Edmond Haxhinasto commented the German Bundestag decision to vote for the opening of negotiations with Albania provided the country meets seven conditions. Haxhinasto compared the seven conditions set by Germany to a re-foundation of the Republic.

“If the parliament of a country like Germany holds such a position and sets those conditions, in my opinion it means we are facing a very serious situation, because those conditions, as a matter of fact request no less no more than a re-foundation of the Republic”, Haxhinasto said today on TV Vision+.
