Former minister of Justice Ylli Manjani has reacted after the government’s attacks against Syri.net, after the news portal published an article warning the citizens about a coming earthquake. Syri.net was one of a few portals that published the same warning, but Premier Edi Rama’s wrath has been focused only on Syri, with the detention of a journalist and a campaign of denigration on the social media.

“When Damian (Gjiknuri, former minister appeared on elections rigging wiretaps) said earthquake, it was Bild’s fault. When the government, after the earthquake, closes the schools, when the minister put on aprons and appear on the media with ladles and pots, when the Prime Minister flees from the country, it is Syri.net’s fault”, the former minister wrote.

“Such a strong logic, nothing to say! Everyone is consistent. The one who speaks is always to blame…”
