The Democratic Party (PD) said today it has demanded transparency and the whole documentation on the case of Agim Kajmaku, the new mayor of Vora, who has been arrested in Greece under the name Jorgo Toto over a crime that is punishable by law with ten years in prison. Using its lawful right, PD demands to know every step of the Prosecution Office from the day it handed the request on August 20 to September 5.
The letter signed by Secretary General Gazment Bardhi reveals the public deception by the prosecution office with the pretention it hasn’t received Agim Kajmaku’s fingerprints yet within the 5-day legal deadline, due to a “mistake of the mail service which has confused his address and hasn’t delivered the request yet”.
Bardhi’s letter includes the denial by the Posta Shqiptare (the Albanian Post Office), which confirms the delivery of the request at the Municipality of Vora, which can be easily proved by the relevant barcode and the proof of delivery signed by the secretary of the Municipality of Vora”.
