The incumbent Mayor of Shkodra Voltana Ademi commented the farcical elections of June 30, saying her city is the first fortress that will pull down Premier Edi Rama gang. Speaking for Syri TV, Ms Ademi said “the farce of June 30 was an unseen precedent in any democratic country that aims integration into the European Union”.

“It is unfortunate in the framework of the EU integration process to return years behind with the monist elections, with leaders like in Enver Hoxha’s Executive Committees”.

“The municipality of Shkodra was no exception. It was a violent, farcical process, due to Edi Rama’s criminal political pressure. The refusal of Shkodra is an example to the whole Albania”, Ademi said, referring to the very low participation of the citizens.
