The Albanian opposition is making no step back from its position of earlier general elections in the country without Prime Minister Edi Rama. Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said today the opposition is for snap elections, but against any bargain with Rama.
“Earlier elections, yes! Bargain with Edi Rama, no! The United Opposition stands till the end for a political solution through principles, not bargains”, Basha said today in Korçë. “June 30 proved there is no free and fair electoral process with Edi Rama”.
Basha repeated the request for “earlier parliamentary elections in the same day with legitimate local elections and putting before justice all those that stole votes”.
The opposition chief expressed his belief the country will go towards earlier elections. “Edi Rama’s removal is undisputable, as is the investigation and trial of the politicians that were caught stealing votes”.
“Edi Rama is looking for a bargain. All his political life is a bargain, he goes crazy without that. There is no bargain with Edi Rama! Our strength stands in the biggest popular union in three decades of pluralism”, Basha said.

Do te uroja shume, dhe do te isha i lumtur qe Lul Basha te jete personi i duhur, i besuar per ta cuar perpara te djathten, vendin qe cdo dite po shkone drejte humneres. (meqe u more me emrin tim "Askushi", sigurisht qe une e ndjej veten askushi perpara nje shoqerije, perpara figurave intelektuale etj. Kjo eshte thjeshtesija, modestija ime. Nuk dua te merrem me emrit tent O Sum...) Uroj qe gjerat te hecin mire, ne te miren tone, te shqiptareve...
Askush! Vertet duhet te jesh askushi, ti dhe sera jote nese ke qene ndonje dite anetar i PD, e cuat ate ne dite te veshtira, por fatmiresisht sera juaj pak nga pak po perfundon atje ku e kane vendin. E sigurisht meriten kryesore per ngritjen e PD atje ku e ka vendin si parti e lirise do apo nuk do ti dhe sera juaj eshte merite e liderit te saj Z. BASHA.
Pazaret i dashur Luli, i ke bere qe kur ke marre kryesin e PD. Tani je vetem duke bere detyren qe ke marre persiper, shperberjen e PD dhe zgjatjen e jetes se PS PP. fatkeqesisht eshte keshtu. Une qe po te shkruaj, kam harxhuar munde e djers e miliona per PD, por fatkeqsisht ndjehemi te tradhetuar.
