Former Democrat MP Albana Vokshi told a press conference today Albanian Premier Edi Rama is giving two concessions worth €328 million for two roads only 31 kilometers long.
“The parliament that came out of the rigged elections, in collusion with crime, is notarizing today another huge robbery of Albanians to enrich Edi Rama’s personal cronies”, Vokshi said.
“There are €328 million for two roads only 31 kilometers long, almost as long as the distance between Tirana and Durrës. In other worlds, with this day’s criminal decision of the illegitimate parliament, one kilometer of road will cost €10.5 million to the poorest people in Europe”.
“The company that has received the lion’s share, €258 million for 17 kilometers of the field road Milot- Balldren is the company of Ndue and Agim Kola, known for close familiar links to Edi Rama. The other company, Gjikuria, for the concession of the road Orikum–Dukat, is known for the high number of contracts it has earned during Edi Rama’s tenure as Prime Minister”.
“The concessions for the roads Milot-Balldren and Orikum–Dukat are parts of the criminal €1-billion project that is turning Albania into a haven of money laundering, the cost of which will be paid by the Albanian citizens”, Vokshi said.
