Interior Minister Sandër Lleshaj, the man that most of anyone should guarantee security and safety to the citizens, shocks the opinion with his public statements.

After having measured the time with percentage, Lleshaj made another shocking as much as strange declaration.

“Weapons are smuggled in Albania the same way as the smuggled cigarettes are”, Lleshaj said in the parliament today.

“Albania today produces fireworks and the question where they entered from rises. Of course, they are produced in an unlawful way, they are produced to be exported, but they are made here. Concerning the border, we can no longer block it, because it is no longer barbed wired, it’s green. The weapons can be smuggled the same way the contraband cigarettes are smuggled”.

“We will strengthen the criteria for bearing weapons even lawfully. We should strengthen the punishment for illegal bearing of weapons”, Lleshaj proposed.
