The Albanian opposition has prepared an economic platform as a solution to the serious economic crisis in the country, Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha said today to media reporters after a meeting with his fellow chairmen of the opposition parties.

“Today, in the meeting of the united opposition, we talked about the further steps that are necessary for our politic action in all planes, in rapport with the people, the international factors and with the solutions we offer to the citizens”, Basha said.

“Together we discussed our economic platform for economic solutions that Albanians deserve and will have with the victory of the united opposition, which is confirmed as the new politic majority after the referendum of June 30”, Basha said, referring to the local elections of June 30 which were boycotted not only by the opposition but also by the citizens, with a participation as low as 15% despite threats and pressure by Rama’s administration. Also, many thousands of ballot papers were invalid, proving the voters were forced to take part in the elections or else they would face consequences, like losing their jobs.
