After the meeting with Meta, Basha went to his office where he received the leaders of the ally parties and later he talked to the media reporters.
“I had a meeting with the President about the politic crisis and the decreed date of October 13 for the local elections, about his proposal for local, general and presidential elections in the same, with the later implying modifications of the Constitutions”, Basha said.
“Appreciating in maximum the President’s position and his concern that the next elections must be for the people, I made clear to him the Democratic Party and the united opposition are in this battle for the people’s interest and that the next elections must be different from the farce of June 30. The opposition is ready to make any step to guarantee the right of vote to Albanians”.
