Chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) Monika Kryemadhi said the Sunday’s elections were boycotted by more than 85% of the Albanian citizens that were eligible to vote, considering at as a blow to Edi Rama’s government.

"The yesterday’s monist elections, dictated by the organized crime and drug traffic, were refused by over 85% of Albanians. Despite the Renaissance organization KQZ (Central Electoral Commission) broke the Electoral Code more than 30 times for illegitimate elections, they still could not save their chairman from the anxiety, embarrassment and sweat”, Kryemadhi said in a press conference today.

“The total refusal by the Albanians is a major signal and also a major responsibility for us, because our challenges do not consist only in denouncing Edi Rama’s crime; they are much bigger”.

“The people’s word is now a huge responsibility on us. The United Opposition, along with all the political and non-political factors, must bear the solution to the crisis where Rama and his clique plunged the country”.
