Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha promised today the opposition will never allow and accept one-party elections, despite Albanian Premier Edi Rama’s determination to go ahead with June 30 as the date of the local elections.

Basha made his statement after a meeting he had with the US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Leyla Moses-Ones, for which he made no comments, a know practice of the Democrat chairman.

Asked about media reporters about the articles in the press reporting Basha had ordered incidents in the country, the opposition chief said it was all an invention of Rama’s controlled media.

“This is a mediatic product of Rama’s mercenaries, a deception, a service made to Edi Rama”, BAsha said’.

“There will be no elections on June 30. Very few people have not understood this. No matter what the Prime Minister thinks, there will be no elections without the opposition. They will not be allowed, not accepted, not recognized! June 30 is the day of the beginning of the end for Edi Rama’s autocratic rule”.
