The Electoral College, as expected, has decided to reject the request of Party for National Unity (PUK) to unregister from the local elections of June 30. PUK had made its request following the Decree issued by President Ilir Meta to postpone the elections to another date.

PUK’s request was used by Premier Edi Rama in order to have an argument to continue with his madness of one-party elections, as he prefers.

The Electoral College decided with Rama’s order to drop also the presidential decree.
