Mayor of Shkodër Voltana Ademi denied the permission asked by the Socialist Party for an electoral meeting of Albanian Premier Edi Rama in Shkodër, North Albania, explaining her decision with the Presidential Decree of June 10 which called of the local elections of June 30.
In the response of the city hall to the local branch of the Socialist Party, dated June 19, was written that “in compliance with the Decree of the President for the cancelation of June 30 as the date of the elections for the local government, the Municipality of Shkodër does not approve your permission”.
The city hall also explained that with the start of the touristic season, all the squares in the city are busy with promotional activities.
