Four members of the Central Electoral Commission (KQZ) – with Premier Edi Rama’s order – continue to stomp with both feet on the Constitution of the Republic of Albania.
President Ilir Meta’s decree of June 9 has been published in the Official Journal, thus taking effect, but for Denar Biba, Bledar Skënderi, Edlira Jorgaqi and Rezarta Bitrin, a “constitution” is only Rama’s order.
The four KQZ members have decided to gather today to continue their law infringements.
Meanwhile, the KQZ Chairman Klemend Zguri said in the meeting of June 9 that Meta’s decree must be obeyed because KQZ does not have the capacity to judge or make the interpretation of the President’s decision.
However, the four abovementioned members have gathered today to discuss and take decisions on the conduct of the local elections of June 30.
