Albanian President Ilir Meta challenged Premier Edi Rama saying he is not afraid of the Judiciary Reform. Meta was asked by a media reporter during his press conference today to comment about Rama’s declaration that the president fears the Judiciary Reform.
“Afraid, I? I am not afraid of anything and Rama knows that. The US Embassy also knows that”, President Meta responded.
“I fear only my responsibility to the Albanian people and my duty. And my duty is a high one. Since we are talking about the Judiciary Reform, it was approved consensually and if there is some positive recommendation for Albania today it is thanks to my fight and imposition, also of the political force I represented, otherwise Albania wouldn’t have been recommended at all”.
