Vice chairman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) Petrit Vasili said today the members of the Central Electoral Commission (KQZ) must be behind bars following their decision to reject President Ilir Meta’s decree to postpone the local elections of June 30. Vasili wrote they have committed the offence of an institutional coup with the rejection of the presidential decree.

“KQZ of the organized crime consumed the serious offence of the institutional crime by rejecting the President’s decree on the elections”, Vasili wrote on his Facebook page.

“The Renaissance members in KQZ assumed a very heavy penal responsibility from which even Edi Rama or anybody else can save them. Since they have chosen to go to prison along with Edi Rama, good riddance”, Vasili wrote.
