Chairman of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party (FRPD) Belind Këlliçi said the opposition’s rally will be completely peaceful, without any acts of violence, despite the massive participation. The rally will start at 19:00 in front of the prime ministry building, where the opposition will demand again Premier Edi Rama’s resignation as the main condition to take part in free and fair elections.
Speaking with TV Syri, Këlliçi invited the citizens to join the protest, promising it will not be violent.
“We have an economic platform prepared in cooperation with the best experts of Germany’s CDU/CSU to help the country’s economic growth”, Këlliçi said.
“We do not promise wonders. It’s up to the Democratic Party to lead the country to the EU membership as it did with NATO membership or with the visa-free travel”, said Këlliçi, adding that the country is making regress under the Socialist Party rule.
“We need a government for all the citizens. If they are convinced Edi Rama has governed badly, then they must join our protest”.
