Mayor of Durrës Vangjush Dako, who was in the center of interceptions published by German daily Bild proving his collusion with mobsters to influence on the elections result in the county of Durrës, rejected the accusations and blamed the opposition of throwing mud at the criminal gangs!

Speaking in the Opinion talk show on TV Klan, Dako attacked the opposition despite the intercepted conversations with a local mobster were quite clear.

However, what attracted the attention to the viewers was a declaration about the Democrats throwing mud at the accused criminals that worked with the local branch of the Socialist Party to win the elections in the county of Durrës, and Shijak, a small town between the coastal city and Tirana.

“This is a bubble created by the Democratic Party to find a cause (for their accusations) that the votes have been stolen in Albania. It’s the (Democrat) MPs of the county of Durrës that had a very bad result in 2017 and now they ARE THROWING MUD AT THE CRIMINAL GROUPS to cover their incapability to win”, Dako said subconsciously.

The local gangs head, Astrit Avdylaj, whose conversations with Dako and other Socialist officials have been intercepted and published by Bild, said proudly in the court room during his trial for drugs traffic charges last November that “Vangjush Dako is my friend, I have spoken with him because I believe in his program and that’s where I express my concerns”.
