Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha paid a visit to the UK Parliament today where he was received by the Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee Dominic Grieve.

Basha highlighted the necessity to strengthen the rule of law and democracy in Albania as well as staying by the side of the Euro-Atlantic allies to prevent any plan or idea that would undermine NATO’s strategic interests in the southeastern Europe.

The Democrat chief also said the absolute majority of Albanians that live currently in UK work honestly, calling for stronger cooperation in the fight against the organized crime and peculiarly against the human beings traffic. Basha secured Mr. Grieve the Democratic Party is determined in the fight against criminality, traffic and corruption.
