The opposition allies have met Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha in a meeting in the Democrat headquarters where they have decided to continue the protests in the streets till finding a solution for the political crisis in Albania. The chairman of the Movement for National Development, Dashamir Shehi, said after the meeting that the election cannot take place with Edi Rama at the head of the government.

“This is our main message and we’ll discuss it till June 30”, Shehi told media reporters after the meeting.

“The protests will continue and will analyze them, because we do not want to protest just for the sake of protesting, as some tend to think, but because the rules of the game have been violated repeatedly for years”.
